Calculations of distance, bearing and area are based on spherical trigonometry using double precision numbers. Programs are currently implemented in Australia by Civil Aviation Authority SARCC, Water Police and Kevron Aerial Surveys. For more information and pricing details please contact me directly Best Regards Ryszard Korfanty "COORDS" ******** Pilot's briefing tool for individual search allocations. Allows to enter search area corner coordinates, required track spacing, and departure and return aerodromes (select from drop-down list). Calculates Search Area size, prints pilot's briefing with Table of Turns and Waypoints. Produces output in 2 GPS formats. Includes database of locations. Includes print preview. Searches are stored in individual files. "SUNNY" ******* Sun Calculator with a Database of Locations. Calculates Sunrise and Sunset, First and Last Light, First and Last Search Light and Meridian Passage for any day of the year and in any location in the World. "SEEN IT, HEARD IT..." ( available end of July) ********************** Intelligence gathering log system with aircraft database and printing facilities. Includes report printing and search facility by date, number and aircraft callsign. "WATER SEARCH" ************** A set of search planning tools for design and calculation of Search Area in the first 24 hours of coastal searches. Includes user maintainable databases of locations and map register. Program allows to select the type of search target and to enter 4 possible positions and search radius. It then applies wind leeway and current vectors to calculate drift datum at given time. Positions and drift datum are displayed on a monitor on a square grid map. Selection of circles draws and calculates the shape and dimensions of the search area. Map shape can be modified by inserting new IP's (intersection points), deleting IP's or moving them around. Mouse coordinates are calibrated and displayed as Lat/Long. Program produces search report and prints search area map in the scale of registered map. Program includes Sunny Sun Calculator. "SOS" - Search Operations System ******************************** A complete system for planning and coordinating formal searches over land and sea. The program is based on tables included in Airways Operations Instructions manual (Vol 4) developed by US Coast Guard and applied by Australian SARCC. It incorporates complete calculations from Worksheets 4, 5 and 6. Includes user maintainable databases of aircraft and locations. Program caters for a number of different Search Targets; heads in water, liferaft, different size boats for maritime search, person, vehicles, and aircraft of different sizes for land search. It allows to enter up to 5 locations; Last Lositive Fix, Last Reported Positions, Distress Position, Missed Position and Destination. The program then calculates Search Radii based on distance and navigational error factors. The above locations can be pulled directly from database, or defined as track/distance from a position. The Search Radii are displayed on a square grid and Search Area size is automatically calculated. Search Area display can be manipulated in the same way as in Water Search. With the search area size calculated, the program defines the sweep width for different heights for selected search target. Weather and terrain conditions are then applied to calculate corrected sweep width and practical track spacing. A number of hours required to search the area is then calculated. Each search can hold up to 10 different sets of weather/terrain conditions (allocations). Entering initial available resources will then calculate different seach scenarios calculating Probability of Detection for all different arrangements; whole area with selected track spacing, reduced area, increased track spacing and so on. All calculations take into account the search effort, ie. Initial Search Effort and First to Final expansions. POD is calculated separately for the new expansion and the original area included within it. With selected Search Area size and Track Spacing SARMC is given the Hours Required and can now allocate aircraft. Aircrafts are listed in a summary form on a grid that looks a bit like WS6. Individual aircraft allocations looks up an aircraft database and extract Cruising TAS, Search TAS, aircraft type and endurance. Additional data entered includes Pilots qualifications (IFR, VFR and VFR night) and availability, Departure Aerodrome, Return Aerodrome, Holding, Alternate Aerodrome and SIT% (Sighting investigation time percentage). System will then calculate how much search can the aircraft perform. The calculation adjusts for the First Search Light / Last Search Light, First Light, Last Light or No Light Requirements options. It will account also for high performance aircraft with different endurance at different speeds and altitudes. With aircraft planned search ability the SARMC can allocate search area based on number of legs, time, or area size, and define 4 search corners. Pilot's briefing is then printed and WS6 summary display is updated. !!!!!!!! AVAILABLE SOON !!!!!!!!!! "VECTOR" ******** Air Plot and Air Plan calculator. "INTERCEPT AND ESCORT" ********************** Calculator for just the above. In addition to the software development ICE System has developed close relations with other Australian developers: Manufacturers of modems that interface between GPS receivers and radio transeivers to allow transfer of RTCM-104 & NMEA-183 data in DGPS and Automatic Vehicle Locations (AVL) applications. Developers of Intersat Windows Software for AVL packages and direct viewing of GPS position. Linking of Motorola GPS engines and modems to provide AVL & DGPS solutions.
